Tinkerboard S mit Symcon - Log Verzeichnis

Hallo zusammen,

ich besitze ein Tinkerboard S mit Armbian, welches ich bereits vor einigem Monaten installiert habe.
Allerdings lief Symcon nie wirklich stabil, die Konsole stürzte ab oder lief in einen Timeout…
Jetzt habe ich mir das Tinkerboard mal genauer angeschaut:

Hier sind doch auch viele die ein Tinkerboard benutzen, sieht das bei euch genauso aus? Also das /var/log/symcon nur 24MB zur Verfügung hat?
Irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl hier stimmt irgendwas an meiner Installation garnicht.
Habe Armbian auf der eMMC installiert nach einer Anleitung ,die ich leider nicht mehr wieder finde…

Ich nutze das Board nun schon sehr lange. Ich habe keinerlei Abstürze bisher.

Nutze linaro stretch.

Blöde Sache, wenn IPS nicht stabil läuft.

Bezüglich der Verzeichnisse, ist das bei dir auch so?

Läuft set Jahren stabil. Weiss aber nicht mehr, was ich damals alles gemacht hatte.

Wenn ich es richtig verstehe, dann ist zram eine Erweiterung des RAM Speichers, wenn der zu klein ist. So was wie die gute alte RAM Disk.

Warum ist das überhaupt aktiv? Speichermangel ist doch gar nicht vorhanden.

Ich installiere vielleicht mal neu.
Habt ihr eine bestimmte Anleitung benutzt um Linaro zu installieren?

Ihr, das ist lange her. Das Teil ist seit 2018 im Einsatz und 2019 bin ich auf IPS only umgestiegen.
Ich meine, dass ich IPS einfach wie von Symcon angegeben installiert habe. Linaro halt wie jedes andere Linux auch.

Ich meinte eher die Installation von linaro… du hast das ja bestimmt auch auf der emmc laufen, nicht wahr?!?

Das Thinkerboard verhält sich doch am USB Port wie eine SDKarte. Ich muss mal schauen, ob da was war.

Ich hab mal etwas gelesen. Versuch mal hier fündig zu werden.

Hab zwar noch ein Tinker Board S im Schrank liegen aber zum Testen fehlt mir mal wieder die Zeit.

Aber da das Teil völlig sorgenfrei läuft, arbeitet man nur selten auf der Ebene.

Ich habe jetzt mal folgendes ausgeführt und es scheint gewirkt zu haben, /var/log liegt nun nicht mehr im zram:

  1. Change in /etc/default/armbian-ramlog
    ENABLED=false
  2. Disable in cron root user truncate-logs by editing /etc/cron.d/armbian-truncate-logs (just comment the line) like this:

0,15,30,45 * * * * root /usr/lib/armbian/armbian-truncate-logs

  1. Delete /etc/cron.daily/armbian-ram-logging or comment it like:
    #!/bin/sh
    #/usr/lib/armbian/armbian-ramlog write >/dev/null 2>&1
  2. Restart Server.

Jetzt sieht es so aus:
