Auf meinem Pi (RPI3, Jessie) bleibt
/etc/init.d/symcon stop
hängen. Habe dann das Skript mal genauer angeschaut. Im Detail ist es der Befehl
kill -15 pid
der hängen bleibt. Dabei funktioniert
kill -9 pid
prima. Ein update/upgrade aller Pakete hat nichts gebracht.
Was läuft da schief? Habt ihr Ideen zum weiteren Debuggen?

Schau mal bitte ins Logfile von IP-Symcon. Das bedeutet, dass der Dienst nicht sauber herunterfahren kann. Meistens verraten dir die letzten Zeile, wo es klemmt.

Heute Nacht um 3:20 wurde wg. Backup IPS gestoppt. Im Logfile gibt es dazu viele Einträge, die auch in Ordung scheinen:

Trotzdem lief danach der Prozess noch Stunden weiter (zu sehen mit ps aux | grep symcon). Das Logfile stoppt mit diesen Einträgen.

Magst du nächstes mal einmal mit „pgrep symcon“ nachschauen wie viele IP-Symcon Prozesse gestartet sind? Das wirkt ein wenig so, als wenn IPS bei dir mehrmals gestartet worden wäre.

Selten kommt der Prozess [symcon] mit unterschiedlichen PIDs. Der Prozess läuft aber ist in den Swap ausgelagert (?). Der Hauptprozess läuft weiter mit immer gleicher PID. Soll das so sein?

NACHTRAG: Wenn man jetzt im falschen Moment die „pidof symcon“ sucht wird zuerst der Prozess [symcon] gefunden. In /etc/init.d/symcon wird beim Stoppen dann auch dieser Prozess zuerst gekillt - vor dem eigentlichen „Hauptprozess“. Kann das dann zu Problemen führen?
NACHTRAG 2: Kann es sein, dass dieser zusätzliche Prozess von IPS_Execute oder einem ähnlichen Aufruf in IPS erzeugt wird (bisher reine Theorie )
